호주는 토끼와의 전쟁을 치르고 있다. 식용, 사냥용 등 인간들의 유희를 위해 존재하던 아주 적은 수의 토끼들은 탈출하고 도망쳐 급속도로 번식해 호주를 장악했다. 온갖 방법을 동원해도 토끼들을 막을 수는 없었다. 어떤 인간도 자연을 막을 수는 없는 법이다. 토끼와의 전쟁도 토끼들의 완승으로 끝나기를 바라며.
Australia is engaged in a war with rabbits. Once introduced in small numbers for purposes such as food and hunting, these rabbits escaped and, through rapid reproduction, overtook the land. Despite all efforts, there was no stopping them. No human can contain nature. The war with the rabbits is ultimately destined to end in their complete victory.
